Alliance University Hosts Build with AI 2026 Workshop in Collaboration with Google for Developers
25 June, 2026

Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way technology is designed, developed, and applied across industries. To equip students with practical knowledge of these emerging technologies, the Department of Information Technology, Alliance School of Advanced Computing, Alliance University, in collaboration with Google for Developers and DevAarambh, organized the Build with AI 2026 Workshop. The program provided students with an opportunity to explore Google’s latest AI technologies through expert-led sessions and hands-on learning.
The workshop featured Mr. Ajoe Joseph, Google Developer Expert (GDE) and Software Engineer at People10 Technologies Inc., as the resource person. He introduced participants to Google's evolving AI ecosystem, including Gemini, Gemma, Google AI Studio, Vertex AI, and the Agent Development Kit (ADK), while demonstrating how these platforms are being used to build intelligent, scalable, and real-world AI applications.
Designed as an experiential learning program, the workshop combined technical sessions with live demonstrations, guided coding exercises, and interactive codelabs. Participants gained practical experience in prompt engineering, AI-assisted software development, intelligent automation, and the integration of Generative AI into modern software applications. The sessions also explored real-world use cases across domains such as healthcare, education, finance, and enterprise technology, helping students understand the growing impact of AI across industries.
The interactive format encouraged students to engage directly with the resource person through discussions and question-and-answer sessions on emerging AI trends, Google Cloud technologies, career opportunities, and industry-recognized certifications. Participants also received technical learning resources, guided codelabs, Google Cloud credits, and certificates of participation, enabling them to continue exploring Google's AI ecosystem beyond the workshop.
The workshop strengthened participants' understanding of Artificial Intelligence while enhancing their practical skills in modern AI application development, problem-solving, and innovation. It reflected Alliance University's continued commitment to industry-academia collaboration and experiential learning by creating opportunities for students to develop future-ready competencies in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.
