The Department of Information Technology, Alliance School of Advanced Computing, Alliance University, hosted the Build with AI 2026 Workshop in collaboration with Google for Developers and DevAarambh. The program created an immersive learning platform for students to engage with the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence and understand its practical applications.

The workshop was led by Mr. Ajoe Joseph, Google Developer Expert and Software Engineer at People10 Technologies Inc. He introduced participants to Google's AI ecosystem, including Gemini, Gemma, Google AI Studio, Vertex AI, and the Agent Development Kit. Through live demonstrations, guided codelabs, prompt engineering exercises, and hands-on development sessions, students explored how these tools can be used to build intelligent, scalable, and real-world solutions.

The program brought together 120 undergraduate and postgraduate students, providing them with practical exposure to Generative AI, cloud technologies, intelligent automation, and emerging career pathways. The interactive format encouraged students to strengthen their technical understanding, apply new concepts, and engage with current industry practices.

The workshop reflected Alliance University's continued focus on bridging academic learning with industry exposure. It also supported the University's efforts to equip students with relevant technological skills and prepare them for opportunities in Artificial Intelligence and related fields.
