Alliance University Conducts Technical Mock Hiring Session for B.Tech. Students

The Office of Career Advancement and Networking (CAN), Alliance University, organised a Technical Mock Hiring session for students of the B.Tech. 2023–27 batch. The initiative was designed to recreate key stages of the recruitment process and provide students with practical exposure to the expectations of technical hiring.

The session featured a Personal Interview round conducted with the support of industry mentors from organization\'s including Microsoft, TCS, Deloitte, PepsiCo, and others. Through these interactions, students were assessed technical understanding, problem-solving approaches, communication skills, and overall professional readiness.

The mock hiring format gave students an opportunity to experience the structure and pressure of real interviews in a guided environment. It also helped them understand how recruiters evaluate both technical competence and the ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently.

Industry mentors shared practical insights into current hiring expectations and offered feedback that helped participants recognize their strengths and identify areas that required further improvement. The session encouraged students to reflect on their preparation, refine their interview approach, and build greater confidence for upcoming placement opportunities.

The initiative reflected Alliance University’s continued focus on career preparedness and industry engagement. By creating realistic recruitment experiences, the University aims to equip students with the awareness, confidence, and professional skills required to navigate a competitive employment landscape.
