Alliance University celebrated the cultural legacy of Tulu Yakshagana through an engaging workshop and a traditional performance organized in association with the Tulu World Foundation and Tuluvere Chavadi, Tenkai Bommasandra. The program offered students an opportunity to understand the historical, linguistic, and artistic traditions connected with Tulu culture.

Distinguished scholars and cultural experts introduced participants to the history and evolution of Tulu culture, folklore, language, and performing arts. Their sessions helped students understand the role of oral traditions and regional art forms in preserving community identity and cultural memory.

The program concluded with a presentation of the popular Yakshagana prasanga, "Siri Krishne Chandapali," performed by artistes from Mangaluru. The performance brought together music, dance, dialogue, costume, and storytelling, giving students direct exposure to the distinctive features of Yakshagana.

The initiative created a meaningful space for cultural learning and engagement. It also reflected Alliance University’s continued efforts to promote awareness, appreciation, and preservation of India’s diverse cultural heritage among younger generations.
