MBA Finance students at the Alliance School of Business, Alliance University, participated in a guest lecture on “Financial Analysis & Valuation: Bridging Classroom Learning with Industry Practice,” led by Ms. Abhilasha Singh, Director, BDO RISE Private Limited.

The session focused on key areas such as value drivers, financial modelling, valuation methodologies, private company and startup valuation, and the role of professional judgement in real-world assignments. The discussion helped students understand how financial concepts are applied in practice and how different factors influence valuation decisions.
