Alliance University hosted the Alliance Annual Alumni Meet, bringing together more than 1,113 alumni representing 25–26 graduating batches, from the Batch of 2000 to the latest graduating cohort. Alumni representing over 1,000 organizations travelled from across India and international locations including the US, UK, Denmark, Germany, Dubai, and Australia, reflecting the global strength of the Alliance alumni community.

Welcoming the gathering, Mr. Harikrishna, President, Alliance Alumni Association, described the occasion as a homecoming and encouraged alumni to reconnect with shared memories, achievements, and entrepreneurial journeys. He emphasized that the relationship with Alliance continues well beyond graduation.

Mr. Abhay G. Chebbi, Pro-Chancellor, Alliance University, highlighted the importance of alumni engagement through mentorship, professional opportunities, knowledge sharing, and lifelong learning. He also spoke about the University’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and AU-QUASAR, with its quantum computing, NVIDIA GPU, robotics, and sensor infrastructure. The wider ecosystem engages 7,000+ students, has supported 400+ startups and companies, and has facilitated approximately ₹1.2 crore in private funding.

Dr. B. Priestly Shan, Vice-Chancellor, Alliance University, called for greater alumni participation in shaping the next generation of students through mentorship, evaluation of final-year dissertations and capstone projects, and guidance on aligning student capabilities with industry requirements. Dr. Ray Titus, Pro Vice-Chancellor – Innovation and Incubation, introduced the OODA Loop – Observe, Orient, Decide and Act as a framework for entrepreneurs navigating changing markets with speed and informed decision-making.

The event also featured the Alliance Alumni Global Awards, recognizing alumni across professional, social, entrepreneurial, academic, and creative fields. Mr. Amit Shetty, CEO, Embassy Real Estate, received the award for Outstanding Professional Achievement; Mr. Adityodaya Karna Belagere, Founder, Prarthana.in World School, for Social Justice and Community Service; Dr. Ranjith T. P., Head of Talent Acquisition, Volvo Group, for Outstanding Contribution to the Alma Mater; Mr. Arun Kulangara, Co-Founder, STOREYS Real Estate, as Outstanding Young Entrepreneur; Mr. Ananyabrata Chakravorty, Actor, Director and Writer, for Arts and Performing Arts; and Dr. Garima Saxena, Chairperson, International Relations, IMT Ghaziabad, for Academic and Scholarly Achievement. 

A key highlight was the launch of the Alliance Alumni Membership Card, led by Mrs. Surekha Shetty, Registrar General, Alliance University. Reflecting on the institution’s growth, she highlighted Alliance’s journey from a business school with 79 students, two programs, and one building to a university ecosystem with 14,000+ students, 100+ programs, 650+ faculty members, 1,500+ staff members, and a 60+ acre campus. She also noted the strength of 32,000+ alumni across 70+ countries, along with 100+ global university partnerships, 1,000+ recruiting partners, and 400+ incubated startups.

The Alumni Membership Card is designed to support lifelong engagement through campus access, networking, career support, mentorship, further education privileges, selected partner benefits, and opportunities to connect with alumni-owned businesses.

The celebrations also featured the Alumni HR Meet, CXO Meet, Spotlight on Young Alumni, Alumni Jodi, Alum Sprouts, and Alumni Cricket League, creating opportunities for alumni across generations and industries to reconnect. The gathering concluded with a live musical performance by Team Lagori.

The Annual Alumni Meet reflected Alliance University’s continued focus on building an alumni ecosystem rooted in lifelong learning, mentorship, entrepreneurship, innovation, professional trust, and belonging, reinforcing the idea that the Alliance journey continues long after graduation.
