Editorial

It is with great pleasure that we present Volume 11, Issue 1 of the International Journal of Law and Social Sciences (IJLS). As the journal enters its eleventh year of publication, this issue continues our commitment to fostering critical inquiry and scholarly dialogue at the intersection of law, society, and human development. We are delighted to note that the Journal has been indexed by leading databases including, Heinonline, Manupatra, SCC online, J-Gate, ProQuest among others.

In an era marked by rapid technological advancement, shifting socio-political boundaries, and deep ethical challenges, the role of legal scholarship has never been more vital. This edition brings together contributions that interrogate contemporary legal and social phenomena—from governance and justice reform to rights-based approaches in emerging disciplines. Each article, in its own way, reflects the journal’s mission to advance interdisciplinary discourse that bridges theory and practice

We are particularly encouraged by the growing participation of scholars from diverse jurisdictions, whose perspectives enrich global conversations on law and social transformation. This diversity of voices underscores our belief that the study of law gains depth and relevance when viewed through multiple cultural, economic, and philosophical lenses.

As always, we extend our gratitude to our senior leadership of Alliance University, the members of the Editorial Advisory Board, reviewers, and contributors for their rigorous scholarship and steadfast commitment to excellence. Their efforts ensure that the IJLS remains a platform where ideas can challenge convention, inspire inquiry, and contribute meaningfully to the pursuit of a just and equitable society.

We invite our readers to engage critically with the arguments and insights presented in this issue, and to continue the dialogue that defines our collective academic journey.
