Mr. Mathew Thankachan

Mr. Mathew Thankachan leads the Office of Marketing & Communications at Alliance University, where he shapes the institution’s brand equity across media platforms and works with stakeholders to bring the founding vision to life.

Specialized in Marketing, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Alliance School of Business, Bengaluru, and a bachelor’s degree in Science from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, Mathew has held various roles at Alliance University. Prior to his role in the Office of Marketing & Communications, he has led departments such as Student Support Services, Human Resources, Career Advancement & Networking, Alumni Relations, and Admissions, among others.

As an alumnus of Alliance, Mathew prides himself on being an evolving student among the many young learners on campus. His passion to work across portfolios has led him to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds to execute events of varied scales and themes, such as TEDxAllianceUniversity, Convocations, Alliance ONE, and Literary Festivals.

In addition to his experience in education, Mathew has also worked in business analysis and pre-sales at ITC Infotech, a leading Indian information technology company.

Mathew is also an avid traveller, foodie, and an admirer of automobiles and modern architecture.
