Mr. Shashank Kumar

Prof. Shashank Kumar is currently pursuing PhD in Corporate Personality from Lovely Professional University, Punjab. He qualified the UGC-NET Exam in June 2015. His primary areas of interest are Corporate Law, Investment Law, Corporate Finance, Mercantile Law and Mergers & Acquisitions.

He has been a part of legal academia for past four years. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Christ University where he taught courses on Corporate Law, Securities Law, Competition Law and Moot Courts. At Christ, he was also a Member of the Curriculum Development Committee. He also functioned as the Faculty Co-Ordinator in organizing various co-curricular events and competitions.

He completed his LL. M in 2015 from NLU, Jodhpur specializing in Banking and Finance Law. During the course, he actively participated in conferences and dialogues. He participated in a round table conference on ‘Moral Hazards and Other Issues in Current/ Wholesale/Corporate/ Business Accounts’ organized by Center for Studies in Banking and Finance (set up by RBI Corpus Fund) in National Law University, Jodhpur.

He is a graduate from Bharati Vidyapeeth University (Class of 2014). At BVP, he also successfully completed the PG Diploma Course in ADR and a Diploma in Corporate Laws (Asian School of Cyber Laws). He participated in the Khshan National Moot Court Competition and secured 3rd position.

Apart from his passion for teaching, he has been passionately volunteering for Eco Clubs and keeps participating in social sector events and conferences.
