Prof. Santosh Anand

Prof. Santosh Anand is pursuing his Ph.D. from South Asian University, New Delhi. He holds both an M.Phil. and an LLM in international law from the South Asian University. He obtained his B.A. LL. B. (Hons.) from the Chanakya National Law University, Patna.

Prof. Santosh’s broader research interests are in the fields of international law, intersections between international law and political economy, and critical legal theories. He has specific expertise on international criminal law, particularly on critical approaches to the sub-field. His current research develops a critical account of international criminal law and its construction as a form of international justice by drawing on particular critical approaches to the law and political economy, and the third world approaches to international law.

Prof. Santosh has diverse teaching interests in the field of international law, particularly international criminal law, international economic law, international human rights law, and international humanitarian law. In addition to international law, his other teaching interests include jurisprudence, criminal law, and constitutional law.
