Ms. Vinita Nair

Assistant Professor

Ms. Vinita Nair is a dedicated academician with over 16 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership, complemented by industry exposure and a strong focus on emerging technologies and curriculum innovation into higher education. She demonstrates exceptional skill in mentoring and guiding students toward academic and professional excellence. Ms. Vinita is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Alliance School of Advanced Computing.

She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the Department of Computer Science at Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, with her research focused on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing. Her research contributions have been acknowledged through publications in well-regarded Scopus and WOS journals and actively presented scholarly papers at prominent national and international conferences. She earned her master’s in computer applications and bachelor’s in science, graduating from Gujarat University with distinction. Her teaching expertise are in subjects such as Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Mobile Application Development, NoSQL Databases, Python, Advanced Java, Data Warehousing & Mining, Web Services and Business Requirement Modelling.

In addition to her teaching expertise, she has held several academic and administrative roles at reputed institutions across Gujarat and Karnataka. Dring her tenure in Gujarat, she served as the Programme, Placement, and Industry Internship Co-ordinator for postgraduate students, actively contributing to academic planning, industry collaboration, and student career development. She also served as an instructor at the Department of International Studies, contributing to globally oriented academic programs and cross-cultural learning initiatives. She further contributed as an editorial member of the institutional student magazine and actively contributed as a review member for university’s multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal. Passionate about student development, she has initiated and organized soft skills sessions, technical seminars, and hands-on workshops. Her contributions extend to designing innovative pedagogies, curriculum development, mentoring in national hackathons (SIH and SSIP), coordinating various institutional events, and counselling prospective post graduate students.

She holds a lifetime membership with the Computer Society of India (CSI). With a strong academic background and a passion for learning, she brings a commitment to both teaching and research excellence. Ms. Vinita actively engages in scholarly activities, curriculum

development, and collaborative research initiatives that align with the university’s mission of fostering innovation and academic rigor.
