Sruthy Chandrasekhar is the head of the School of Performing, Liberal, and Creative Arts at Alliance University. She is a captivating classical and playback singer who frequently performs with music ensembles for classical dance performances. A former contestant on Asianet Idea Star Singer, Sruthy has also anchored shows on Asianet Plus. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in music.
Sruthy's training in various dance forms, combined with her musical expertise, instilled in her the idea of integrating the arts within academics. This unique blend of talents makes her an exceptional singer for dancers, with a keen awareness of the nuances needed to enliven dance through music. Her versatility, distinctive voice, and expressive singing abilities make her stand out as a singer who can take audiences on an emotional journey.
