Srishti Bajaj is an award-winning multidisciplinary designer, educator & mentor, public speaker and moderator with over 20 years of work experience across a variety of design domain. She holds an MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Art, the UK, and a UG Diploma in Accessory Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology and is currently pursuing her PhD from Anant National University.

A former entrepreneur, she founded DesignBait (2009) - a design & research consultancy and was hailed as one of India's top 20 creative entrepreneurs by IIMB and the British Council. The studio built a portfolio working with Indian and International clients on multidisciplinary design projects encompassing physical & digital products, branding, research, and trend forecasting. DesignBait’s own line of products has been exhibited at London Design Week, DesignMile, DesignXDesign, British Council, and Alliance Français de Delhi. And featured in design magazines like Elle Décor UK & India, Trend Bible, Business Standard, Mint, India Today, The Telegraph, Deccan Herald, Platform, LivingEtc, to name a few. She has been the recipient of the prestigious Elle Decor International Design Award, an honorary Red Dot, and a Swarovski design award.

Over the last 12 years, she has immersed herself as a design educator and mentor having taught at multiple design institutes as visiting faculty specialising in teaching speculative design, research and design as social responsibility. Former Dean for the design school at GD Goenka University leading multiple design programmes and former Head of Department at Pearl Academy where she helped set up and expand their Product Design vertical.

A passionate design advocate, she writes for various newspapers & magazines, and enjoys curating and anchoring design initiative. She believes in propagating the value and wisdom of design not just within the design community but to non-designers as well.
