Ms. N. Nithya is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Alliance University, Bengaluru. Her doctoral research focuses on transition metal oxide-based memristor devices, with emphasis on physical device modeling, material optimization, and electrical performance enhancement for non-volatile memory and neuromorphic computing applications. She holds a Master’s degree in VLSI Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from reputed institutions in India. She has a strong academic foundation in semiconductor device physics, electronic circuits, microprocessors, and VLSI systems. In the past, Ms. Nithya has served as a faculty member in engineering institutions and has contributed to academic activities such as teaching, mentoring, and laboratory coordination. She has actively participated in research forums and has presented papers at national and international conferences. She has also attended workshops, seminars, and faculty development programs to enhance her academic and technical skills. Her research involves TCAD-based physical device simulation using Silvaco ATLAS and Synopsys Sentaurus. She studies the effects of doping concentration, oxygen vacancies, oxide thickness, and internal defects on the resistive switching characteristics of memristive devices. Her research interests include memristors, ferroelectric memory devices, nanoelectronics systems, and advanced oxide materials.Journal
