Mr. Swarnadeep Maity

Mr. Swarnadeep Maity is an experienced academician and finance professional with over 8 years of teaching and research experience in the field of management education. He most recently served as an Assistant Professor at NSB Academy, Bangalore (2017–2025), where he taught a range of finance-related subjects to MBA students, including Financial Management, Business Valuation, Risk Management and Derivatives, and Investment Analysis.
Mr. Maity is also a Research Scholar at Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME), where he has successfully submitted his Ph.D. thesis. His academic interests are strongly rooted in financial markets, risk analysis, and investment strategies.
In his previous role at NSB Academy, he:
- Served as IQAC Coordinator, contributing to NAAC and NBA accreditation processes.
- Guided numerous MBA students in their project work, offering academic and research supervision.
- Conducted training sessions in Investment and Portfolio Analysis to enhance student competencies in applied finance.
- Acted as the Faculty Coordinator for the External Affairs Committee, facilitating academic-industry engagement and outreach activities.
With a passion for research, teaching, and institutional development, Mr. Maity continues to make valuable contributions to the academic landscape through his expertise in finance and management education.
