Mr. Asif Imran

Assistant Professor

Alliance School of Liberal Arts and Humanities

Assistant Professor Mr. Asif Imran teaches Visual Arts at the Alliance School of Liberal Arts, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences. Previously, he was also a part of the Kolkata Centre for Creativity (KCC) Art Fellowship 2020-21 and the Goonj Fellowship 2022-23. He completed his Master of Fine Arts from the Faculty of Applied Art, Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata.

Other Achievements:

  • He worked on a Visual Art Project titled "Mahanagar (The City)" under the KCC Art Fellowship program.
  • He received the Hyundai Motors India Foundation - Art for Hope Grant 2021-22.

Awards won:

  • Tecita Dean Award by Art Incept, 2023.
  • Abir First Take Annual Exhibition Award by Abir India, 2021.
  • Next Breed Critic’s Choice Award by Nippon Contemporary, 2021. 

He has also participated in many exhibitions, including:

  • India Art Fair 2022.
