Dr. Thomason Rajan

Dr. Thomason Rajan is an educator with a focused interest in Marketing and Brand Management. A Ph.D. holder and an MBA graduate from the University of Kerala’s Faculty of Management Studies, he held positions with Ernst & Young, and The World Bank before working with educational institutions including Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies, St. Joseph’s Institute of Management, and Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies. Over the years, he has designed and taught course modules that emphasise active learning, ensuring students engage meaningfully with both concepts and practice.
In addition to teaching, he has written business cases linked to marketing and enterprise development to help students understand the nuances of the business world in a more applied and relatable manner. He has also contributed to faculty development through training programs, including implementing the Gallup® Strengths-based Team framework to improve team collaboration. He brings a balanced mix of academic insight and industry orientation, committed to improving the learning environment and preparing students for real-world challenges.
