Dr. Susmita Adhikary

Dr. Susmita Adhikary leads impactful research initiatives in renewable energy, smart grids, automation, and IoT, while fostering a strong research culture through grant acquisition, publications, and collaborative projects. Dr. Adhikary actively strengthens industry-academia partnerships via MoUs, consultancy work, and technical training programs, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

She had earlier served as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department (TIC/HOD) of Electrical Engineering at Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology (Techno India Group), Kolkata from 2005 to 2025. She is committed to delivering high-quality education, designing industry-aligned curricula, and integrating emerging technologies to enhance student learning outcomes.

Dedicated to promoting innovation, she mentors students in technical competitions, patent filings, startups, and research publications, ensuring they gain hands-on experience and real-world problem-solving abilities.
