Dr. S. Iwin Thanakumar Joseph

Dr. S. Iwin Thanakumar Joseph is an accomplished academician with over 16 years and 8 months of teaching experience in the field of Computer Science and Engineering as of February 2, 2025. Earlier serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Integrated Research and Discovery at Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KLEF), Andhra Pradesh, he has held progressive academic positions at KLEF since December 2021. Prior to this, he served for over 13 years as Assistant Professor at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Tamil Nadu.

His academic expertise spans a broad range of contemporary and foundational subjects, including Cloud-based AI/ML, Full Stack Application Development, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Digital Image Processing, Software Engineering, and Microprocessor Systems.

In addition to teaching, he has contributed significantly to academic program coordination, curriculum development aligned with industry standards, and large-scale student mentoring (handling up to 600 students). As a Course Coordinator, he led curriculum revisions, introduced hands-on tools and software, collaborated with industry professionals for seminars/webinars, coordinated uniform delivery across teaching teams, and integrated hackathons as part of the evaluation process.

He has also undertaken industrial upskilling, including a three-month industrial certification in Automation Testing with Selenium from EPAM Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, and Full Stack Java Development training by ExcelR Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad. Actively involved in student skill development for campus placements, he trains and mentors students to successfully complete industry-recognized certifications.

He brings together a rare combination of academic leadership, technical proficiency, and industry collaboration, contributing significantly to enhancing teaching outcomes and preparing students for real-world challenges in technology and engineering.
