Associate Professor
Dr. Prabhat Thakur is an accomplished academician and researcher specializing in next-generation wireless communication systems, with a particular focus on 5G/6G technologies, cognitive radio networks, and connected environments in Industry 4.0. He earned his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jaypee University of Information Technology, India, and completed Post-Doctoral research at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, focusing on spectrally efficient designs for next-generation connected environments. His research has been supported by competitive fellowships from the URC/FRC and recognized as a Y-Rated Promising Young Researcher by the National Research Foundation (NRF), South Africa. With over a decade of academic and research experience, Dr. Thakur has worked as Assistant Professor at Symbiosis Institute of Technology-Pune, Chandigarh University, and Gulzar Group of Institutes as-well-as contributed to a research project sponsored by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) as a Research Fellow.
