Dr. Oleg Pavenkov
Assistant Professor

Dr. Oleg Pavenkov holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy with a specialization in the philosophy of culture and philosophical anthropology from Leningrad State University (2013), and a Doctorate in Theology from the Pontifical Oriental Institute (2017). He also holds a Master’s degree in English Applied Linguistics from the Autonomous University of Madrid (2016) and a Specialist degree with distinction in Sociology from Saint Petersburg State University.
With extensive academic experience, Dr. Pavenkov previously served as an Assistant Professor of Social Sciences at the University under the Interparliamentary Assembly of EurAsEC. Prior to this, he held teaching and research positions at the Saint Petersburg State Institute of Cinema and Television, where he served as Assistant Professor and Senior Lecturer in Social Sciences from 2011 to 2022. His early career also included roles as a researcher at the Faculty of Sociology, Saint Petersburg State University, and as a social sciences teacher at Secondary School No. 681 in St. Petersburg.
Dr. Pavenkov’s research interests lie in the ethics of artificial intelligence, philosophical anthropology, and the intersection of culture, ethics, and technology. His scholarly work reflects a deep engagement with contemporary ethical issues shaped by technological advancement and cultural change.
