Dr. Mousumi Karmakar

Dr. Mousumi Karmakar has successfully attained her Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from Banaras Hindu University. She also holds a B.Sc. and has achieved qualification in UGC JRF (University Grants Commission Junior Research Fellowship). Her research pursuits encompass a diverse range of interests, including Altmetrics, Social Media Data Analysis, Quantitative Data Studies, and Scientometrics.

In the realm of her doctoral thesis, she has delved into the role of social media plug-ins on journal websites, conducted comparisons of social media aggregators, and investigated the structural properties of social transactions centered around scientific endeavors. With a deep-seated enthusiasm for both teaching and research, Dr. Mousumi Karmakar unequivocally showcases her dedication to advancing knowledge in these domains.
