Dr. Marimganti Srinivas

Dr. M. Srinivas is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 21 years of teaching experience and 9 years of research expertise in Computer Science and Engineering. His academic and professional journey reflects a strong interdisciplinary foundation, blending computer science, computational techniques, and physics to drive innovation in machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL).

He was earlier serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Symbiosis International University (Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Hyderabad). Prior to that, he held academic positions at prestigious institutions including Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amrita University) in Amaravati and Bengaluru, Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology, K L University, CVR College of Engineering, Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, and Vignan Institute of Technology and Science, among others.

Throughout his career, Dr. Srinivas has been dedicated to outcome-based teaching, curriculum development, and research-driven instruction. His areas of expertise include machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, and computational modeling. He is passionate about integrating emerging technologies into classroom learning and mentoring students toward research excellence and innovation.

Dr. Srinivas earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIIT–Hyderabad, where his research focused on advanced computational intelligence methods. He holds multiple postgraduate degrees: M.Tech. in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Mysore (Gold Medalist), M.Phil. in Physics from Pondicherry University, M.Tech. in Computational Techniques from the University of Hyderabad, and M.Sc. in Physics from Osmania University. He completed his B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science from Kakatiya University.

A recipient of the DeitY Visvesvaraya Fellowship for his doctoral studies, Dr. Srinivas has also secured top national rankings in multiple entrance examinations, including All India 1st Rank in M.Tech. (Computational Techniques) at the University of Hyderabad and All India 8th Rank in M.Tech. (Computer Science and Technology) conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority.
