Dr. Latha Rajagopalan

Professor

Alliance School of Applied Engineering

Dr. Latha Rajagopalan is a distinguished academician and academic administrator with three decades of experience in teaching, research, leadership, and institutional governance. She has served in senior leadership roles including Dean (Academics), Head of Department, Dean–Research, and Principal at reputed engineering institutions over the past 8 Years.

She holds a Ph.D. from Anna University-Chennai, with postgraduate specialization from PSG College of Technology and undergraduate education from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. Her core expertise spans Low Power VLSI System Design, DSP Architectures, Embedded Systems, FPGA/ASIC Design, IoT and AI-based SoC Design.

Dr. Latha has an outstanding research and academic record, with 131 publications, including 31 SCI/Scopus /peer reviewed journals, 8 patents, 5 Books/Book chapters, 12 Editorial Board Member/Reviewer for several International Journals inclusive of IEEE Transactions on Circuits & Systems II-Express Briefs and 53 extensive National/ International conference contributions.

She has successfully completed 17 consultancy assignments for M/s Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions as a trainer, delivering industry-relevant technical solutions and demonstrating strong methodological rigor.  In addition, She has guided Ph.D. Scholars, 65+ Post graduate & Undergraduate Projects alongside with multiple R&D initiatives.

Dr.Latha has played a significant role in accreditation and quality assurance processes, serving as an Institutional level NBA Coordinator and actively contributing to NAAC/NBA processes, IQAC-driven National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) and implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in cutting edge technologies across cross engineering domains by incorporation of Innovation Ideas. She has spearheaded a pivotal role in 12 NBA/NAAC accreditation, 6 Governing/Academic Councils, 20+ BOS activities by demonstrating sustained leadership in quality assurance and institutional development at various premier engineering Institutions. She has consistently focused on strategic institutional transformation by enhancing curriculum design and aligning academic practices on par with Global Benchmarks.
