Dr. Elena Zarova is Doctor of Economics and Professor of Statistics. Dr. Zarova is an Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, an elected member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI), a Council Member · Head of Central Euro-Asian Outreach Committee of ISI.

Dr. Zarova is also a Member of the Editorial Board, ‘Journal of the International Association for Official Statistics (IAOS)’, a Member of the Scientific and Methodological Council of Russian Federal Statistical Service and a Member of Russian Association of Statistics (RAS).

Dr. Zarova has to her credit more than 150 articles, 16 monographs and study books. Her key areas of expertise are data mining methodology with R, data visualization in statistical research, multivariate statistical analysis, business cycle modeling, spatial time series analysis and modelling and statistics of new forms of employment.
