ProtoNova

ProtoNova is a flagship project exhibition under ALLIANCENOVA 2025, providing a platform for students of Grades 9–12 to design, build, and showcase prototypes that address real-world challenges.
Students will apply engineering, science, and design thinking to build solutions that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Industry 4.0 principles.

Mindforge

MindForge is a dynamic inter-school debate competition that challenges young thinkers to analyze, argue, and articulate ideas on themes linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
It aims to develop students’ critical thinking, logical reasoning, and communication skills—preparing them to be informed, persuasive leaders of tomorrow.

NovaQuest

Nova Quest 2025 is an exciting inter-school Quiz Competition designed to spark curiosity and inspire awareness among students about sustainability, science, and environmental responsibility.
Through challenging and engaging rounds, the competition aims to promote scientific temper, environmental consciousness, and critical thinking among young learners.

Guidelines

  • Open to students from Grades 9–12.
  • Participants must register before the event and present school ID cards.
  • Reporting time: 8:00 AM | Dress Code: School Uniform/Formals.
  • Respectful conduct required; no external assistance allowed.
  • All events will be held at Alliance University, Bengaluru Central Campus.
  • Certificates to all participants; prizes for top 3 winners in each competition.
  • Organizers reserve rights to modify rules or event format.
  • Jury & committee decisions will be final.
  • Disputes subject to Bengaluru jurisdiction.

PROTONOVA - PROJECT EXHIBITION

Theme: “Engineering Tomorrow”
Category: Innovation & Prototype Development

  • Teams must design and develop original working prototypes or models addressing real-world challenges.
  • Each project must align with one of the focus areas:
    • Clean Energy & Environmental Solutions
    • Smart Cities & Infrastructure
  • Artificial Intelligence & Automation
  • Open Innovation (aligned with UN SDGs)
  • Pre-fabricated kits or commercially available models are not allowed as standalone exhibits.
  • Teams must submit a 300-word abstract outlining the problem, proposed solution, and innovation aspect before the event.
  • Teams should bring all materials and equipment required for their display.
  • Each project must be safe to operate and suitable for indoor demonstration.
  • Projects should be ready for on-spot explanation and demonstration during evaluation.
  • Teams must adhere to time slots allocated for both exhibition and final presentation.

MINDFORGE 2025 – DEBATE COMPETITION

Theme: “Voices for a Sustainable Future”
Category: SDG-Themed Inter-School Debate

  • Each debate consists of two teams (affirmative and negative), with two to four speakers per team.
  • The debate begins with constructive speeches from each team, alternating sides, followed by rebuttal speeches and a final summary from each team.
  • Speech timing must be 3–minutes per speaker, with time penalties for overruns.
  • After each speaker’s constructive speech, a brief questioning or rebuttal segment is allotted to the opposing team.
  • The chairperson moderates proceedings, enforces timing, and oversees fair conduct.
  • All statements must be supported by evidence; new arguments are not allowed in the rebuttal phase.
  • Participants must treat each other respectfully and avoid personal attacks or disruptive conduct.
  • Judges evaluate arguments on evidence, clarity, logic, and teamwork, basing decisions strictly on content presented.

NOVAQUEST - QUIZ COMPETITION

Theme: “Sustainable Development, Science & Environment”
Category: Knowledge-Based Competition

  • Team Size: 2 members per team
  • Based on the number of entries, the number of rounds will be decided by the Organizing Team.
  • Preliminary Round: Offline-written/system based
  • Semi-Final Round: Direct (optional, based on the density of participation)
  • Final Round: Direct (Maximum of 6 teams will qualify)

Final Round: The final round will comprise oral, audio, and video-based question rounds to test participants’ knowledge and presence of mind across diverse formats.
