Alliance University, Alliance School of Business recently inducted the new batch of students to the Doctoral Degree Program (Ph. D.) in Management. The Ph. D. in Management program at Alliance School of Business balances solid grounding in the fundamentals of the discipline with the flexibility to combine and create new knowledge derived from a doctoral students’ work. The Hon’ble Chancellor, Alliance University Dr. Madhukar Angur inaugurated the new batch and in his welcome address propounded the vision of the University behind establishing a doctoral degree program in management: nurture world class research scholars who can develop as doctorally-qualified faculty in business academia. The Hon’ble Chancellor also called upon the new doctoral students to expand their scope of academic inquiry and to strive to improve the quality of research through their contributions to thought leadership and new knowledge creation in business academia.
