Alliance University celebrated its Second Foundation Day on August 2, 2012 marking the foundation of Alliance University as a Private University established in Karnataka State by Act No.34 of year 2010. In his inspiring address to faculty members and staff members of the University, the Hon’ble Chancellor, Alliance University, Madhukar Angur, shared the vision of the University and stated that as a community of lifelong learners, Alliance University pursues an eclectic and inclusive approach that not only focuses on its key constituents deeply and furthers excellence in teaching and research, but is also committed to take the benefits of education and learning to society at large.
The Hon’ble Chancellor unfolded the intent and the vision of the University to keenly engage itself as an exemplary social citizen through outreach programs in the field of higher education, aimed at leveraging the community of scholars at the University to reach out, mentor, guide and champion exceptional talent from among other sections of society at the local and State level, particularly the less privileged—students, scholars, entrepreneurs and self-help groups, among others.
