A Conclave on Social Media in Talent Management was organized by Alliance University in association with People Matters, Gurgaon, a leading media agency on talent management and leadership.

The Conclave - held on June 13,2012 at Vivanta by TAJ, MG Road, Bangalore aimed at furthering knowledge sharing and discussion on innovations among stakeholders in building social enterprises - was attended by over 150 business leaders and corporate associates from domains such as Talent Management, recruitment, Organization Design and Training and Development. Speakers and panel discussants included renowned industry practitioners, who deliberated on top-of-the-mind concerns of global corporations during sessions on: redefining talent management through social media; social hiring and employer branding; and organizational tools to build culture, engagement and employee connect by leveraging social media platforms. Dr. Madhukar Angur, Hon’ble Chancellor, Alliance University, Bangalore who delivered the welcome address at the Conclave, shared deep insights and contemporary perspectives on the increasing relevance of social media technologies in the areas of talent management and recruitment. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of mementoes to the eminent guest speakers.
